Slow growing Russian pines, especially in Arkhangelsk region of Russia are easy to machine to a smooth surface or to sawing. Wood has distinct yellowish white color.

Knots are tightly fixed and not large in size and number. Pine wood has a lot of resin canals and is soft in texture, medium in weight and beautiful appearance. Strength properties are good.

Most common use - construction both exterior and interior.
